Stinkers

My little stinkers keep me quite entertained.

Look at this beautiful face with my lipstick cleverly smeared all over it.

HERE - She has Diaper Rash Cream on her face.  She's such a hoot.  Any time she finds lotion, creams, make-up, etc, she has to put it all over her face.  And it always happens in a matter of SECONDS... usually just when it gets eerily quiet around here...

Oh so cute.

But have no fear, my little hero side-kick is here!  Protecting our home and family from all the evils in the world is serious business!  Just look at that face so full of focus and sincerity!

And - He Is SUCH a Handsome Little BOY! I LOVE HIM!

I don't remember if I already added this picture somewhere... but when I asked this crazy little boy what he wanted to eat, he replied, "A LITTLE GIRL."  Boy was he surprised when that was exactly what he got.

Can you see why I adore her so much??

I could spend all day just looking at their pictures and never get bored, but alas - back to REALITY!

My Kinda Heaven

CREAM PUFFS ~ A.K.A. Little Puffs Of Heaven!
Yep, I made cream puffs and they are quite possibly the best things in the entire world!
(Thank you Brianne M. B. for the recipe and suggestion.)
It was pretty easy and SCRUMP-didily-yum-TIOUS!

1 c. water
1/2 c. butter or margarine
1 c. flour
4 eggs

Heat water and butter to rolling boil in sauce pan. Stir in flour all at once. Stir vigorously over low heat until the mixture leaves the pan and forms into a ball. Remove from heat. Beat eggs in one at a time. Beat mixture until smooth and velvety. Shape into 12 fingers 4" long and 1" wide. Bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes or so until golden brown. Cool.

Filling:

1 large package vanilla instant pudding
1 package Dream Whip

Prepare pudding and Dream Whip as directed. Fold Dream Whip into pudding. Carefully cut off the tops of the pastry and remove the soft centers. Fill with pudding and replace tops. Frost with chocolate frosting.

{*Note - I used Lemon Pudding and no Dream Whip for the filling and they were still fabulous.}

Catching Up - Part 10 Botanical Gardens

I'm FINALLY mostly, almost, probably, possibly, trying to be all caught up.  I think ;)

So the cooler fall temperatures have finally arrived.  It was a PERFECT day to enjoy nature and take a walk in the Botanical Gardens (which are an hour away).

Catching Up - Part 9 Annual Great Wolf Lodge Stay-cation

A pulled Hamstring didn't stop Adam from climbing tons and tons of stairs at the GREAT WOLF LODGE!

We couldn't believe how much this kid has grown!  He was able to ride ALL the slides this time!

This green slide was what we called, "The Toilet" because it flushed you down and around into a hole.  SO FUN!

We were so proud of Caden for enjoying ALL the slides.  I didn't even fully enjoy the scariest one - The Tornado.  It was SUPER fast and SUPER scary.  In the beginning, the lights go out and you are in the pitch dark, ...going so fast it should be illegal, ...and then you get to the part where you totally understand why they named the slide The Tornado.  YIKES!!!

Not only did Caden ride EVERY ride (even the scariest Tornado), he also got to play a Magi-Quest Game which was like a scavenger hunt.  His wand really worked to do magic inside and all throughout the lodge.

We invited my parents to come with us this year.  It was so wonderful for Adam and I to be able to go off on our own for a little bit.  Thanks Parentals - We all had a BLAST :)

Check out how much our kids have changed since last year - HERE.

Catching Up - Part 8 Cousins

My oldest brother and his family welcomed a new baby girl to their family.
She is such a pretty baby.

We had a REALLY great time hanging out with the family.

Grandpa is a good sport.

Don't Ask, Don't Tell

The kids grow and change WAY too fast!

Catching Up - Part 7 Puppy Love

Did you know we got a puppy?  Yes, but then we gave away said puppy.
It was fun for the kids while it lasted.
Puppies and toddlers don't really mix, in my opinion.

Admittedly, it was the CUTEST puppy in the world!!!

*The kids weren't too sad. Just not a

Catching Up - Part 6 Anniversary and Dating

We have officially been married NINE years~!
We even got to go on a few dates this summer too :)
REAL Dates.  Like - Without. The. Kids. Dates.

We went to the Dave Mathew's Band Concert.
It was my first concert.  I think I'd rather see Celine Dion, or Taylor Swift next time ;)

It was also my first time eating Alligator Tails.  How cool is that?

*************************************************************************************

We also got to go to the TEXAS STATE FAIR (the LARGEST State Fair) - without the kiddos!
It was a real treat.  The Deep Fried Peaches and Cream was TO DIE FOR!

There were many things to see and buy.

Dream On Adam ;P

Don't Call The Fashion Police On Me For This Awesome Hat - You know you want one too.
I wanted to be able to see the Pirate Divers through the sun.

This is entirely made of BUTTER.  Yummy, right Adam?  I'm pretty sure he wanted to lick it.
But THIS GUY was the best thing I saw all day.
I love freaks :)

Poof.

I wanted to start a blogging again for some time now, but I just  didn't  know where or how to begin.   I know I kinda just disappe...
