My Sweet Little Dinosaur

Caden: Mom, I'm so lucky.

Mom: Oh yeah?

Caden: Mom, ask why.

Mom: Oh sorry. Why are you so lucky?

Caden: Because I have you. Now I need three kisses and a hug.

AS YOU WISH!

The Sun Sets

My heart goes out to President Hinckley's family tonight. Conference just won't be the same without his humor and wit. I am so grateful to have been a part of the church under his leadership.

Nicer Temps

It's been cold here, lately... but considering many of our friends and family are buried in snow... we haven't been complaining too loudly. We just count ourselves lucky that the temps are going to be in the 60s and 70s this week! We'll have to take advantage of it and head out to the park!

And just to brag about Caden...
He was so good in singing time today. He sang BOTH verses of the song they are learning in church. It was SO CUTE to see him singing away. I just LOVE his singing voice and his adorable little face. I kept getting distracted as I was playing the piano because I didn't want to take my eyes off him! When he was finished singing, he flashed me a thumbs up and blew me a kiss. We really hit the jackpot when we got this sweet boy!

Do You Know The Muffin Man

We love muffins at our house! Caden insisted we make them today. I usually agree to make them on command because I get the awesome Betty Crocker kind ...you just need to add water. Can't get easier than that!
I turn my head for a second and look what happens...
...Save some for me!

New PJs

Did you know they make feet pajamas this big? Ha ha. Caden thought they were pretty cool...but kinda strange for potty time. Nana sent them from Alaska and we just love these comfy and warm pjs! Thanks Nan!

Moonbeam To Sunbeam

We can't believe our little guy became a SUNBEAM in Primary last week at church. It was a bitter-sweet day. I'm lucky that I get to keep an eye on him for part of the time while I play the piano for the kids. ...I never like to be that far from him!

Believe It Or Not

We rang in the new year with family visiting from Alaska. Adam was able to take some time off work for the first time so we ventured out to Ripley's Believe It Or Not, the Wax Museum, and the Mirror Maze. It was such a fun day! We had a blast taking pictures, learning a lot of useless facts, and crashing into our own reflections.

Happy New Year

Finally! Now we can keep everyone updated without sending out mass emails. This past year has been crazy, but it has all been well worth it! I still can't believe we changed states, changed careers, and completely changed our lives forever. It feels so good to be settled! We have much to be thankful for. Here's to another year of adventures.

Poof.

I wanted to start a blogging again for some time now, but I just  didn't  know where or how to begin.   I know I kinda just disappe...
